Start of next phase…
So seems Seedcamp has started, and I’m still in London… Guess I never saw that one coming!! Was hoping I’d be in South Africa by now.. Johannesburg to be exact… But it seems, that timing is everything, and with my nephews birthday coming up on the 11th of September, it seems I’ll most likely be in Dubai for a few days, then, before travelling onto South Africa, and getting settled into my new home for September, October and November.
So, I guess now would be a good time to spill the beans a little on what’s been happening..
After moving back to London, from San Francisco, and settling back into the London way of life (as much as you can, when you have a sister about to give birth, and a brother about to get married!) I spent a few months spread out very very thinly, trying to remotely work with The Pachamama Alliance, a few other people out on the west coast, as well as getting things off the ground with my own personal project, that appears to have been consuming my attention for a few years, at the very least…
Well, my sister had a kid – it was a boy!! My brother got married – he got a wife! and after all the fun, having the entire family in the same house, for oh, about a day, life has started to shape itself again…
I’ve let go of the projects I was working with in London – it’s just too much unproductive energy going in the wrong direction…
And instead, I’m now focussing on creating the system that will be the system of all systems!! A way of managing all your personal relationships in one place… It’ll be like a Personal Relationships Management system… It seems approaching other people, looking for collaborators, or waiting for other people to help, will ultimately all return to me – so I might as well stop looking, and start coding…
And then in a few days start packing… Should be interesting to see what happens on this trip to South Africa… Already before I even get there, it’s starting to turn into an interesting experience…
Like they say… Watch this space…
