Everytime I traverse the Internet in search of something, inevitably, I come across some really interesting content, and especially some really good blogs…  But keeping track of all the blogs, seems to be an ever increasing challenge.  I originally thought surely Google Reader would be good enough, but it’s somehow unresponsive and too slow, and just drives me nuts, every time I try to use it…  It’s not just slow, but painfully slow…  And unfortunately, every feed reader that I’ve found so far, seems to just lack the basic needs that I’m after.  I need a feedreader that I can click, and it just loads, and lets me see what I want to see.. Even some of the best desktop readers that I found, like Omea Reader, which contain all the categories and groupings that I could want takes forever to load, and display..  Everytime I want to add a feed, if I don’t let the program load at startup, and hog the system then, it loads when I select a feed to add, and the 30 seconds to a minute it takes are just far too long for me to be able to handle using it on a long term basis..

So, I’m on a mission, to find the best feedreader I can find.. What I want is something that is responsive instantly, that allows me to browse it easily, see feeds by blog, tag, or category, lets me add feeds dynamically, fairly instantly, and on top of all of that share feeds, be able to comment on stories, add notes to articles in the feeds, and highlight individual entries…  I don’t suppose there’s something that already does all this with a neat category and folder structure that I can get plugged in with straight away is there?? Well if there is, please do comment below, and let me know!  In the meantime, I’ll start scouring the web over the next few days, to find a solution that is portable, available online, and will let me get that instant sync experience, without making me wait as long as Thunderbird does everytime I navigate large amounts of emails, or Omea’s slow and painful loading and closing, everytime I want to use that reader…  keep an eye out for an update on here once I complete my research, since I’ll be sure to share my favourite, and include my review and ratings of everything else I find along the way..
